After the worst weather in 50 years delayed plans to launch the White House earlier this year, the family are delighted to be back on track.

Ceri Whiteley, Operations Director, explains: “Although the bad weather set us back, we’re really excited to be back on schedule to launch in August. Our aim is to create a place where people can meet, eat, drink and celebrate in a relaxed, friendly environment.”

Over the last few months the development has seen some dramatic changes. The original building has been maintained but the front has been demolished and rebuilt with the addition of a beautiful aluminium and glass frontage. Ceri explains: “We’ve kept the main structure of the original building but with the new glass frontage it has opened up the inside to create a light and modern space.”

Other developments include a new function room at the back of the building which will sit 120 people, installation of a state-of-the-art all electric-induction kitchen, creation of nine beautiful bedrooms including two penthouse suites, a new energy efficient biomass boiler which is fuelled by wood pellets plus the creation of a polytunnel which will be used to grow soft fruits and vegetables for customers.

The White House is located on Holywell Road in Rhuallt and will feature a 100 cover restaurant serving freshly cooked food, good cask ales and beers, decent and affordable wines set amongst a beautifully landscaped beer garden.
