Hundreds of dance fans gathered at the College’s Ellesmere Port Campus to see the stars perform ballroom and Latin dances before having the opportunity to ask them questions about their career and time on the programme.

Lucky golden ticket holders also took part in a master class with the duo teaching them a Cha-Cha routine.

The evening was completed by performances from West Cheshire College dance students as well as young dancers from Wirral based Merrall’s Academy of Dance.

Maria Davison, Area Manager Creative Arts and Guidance, at West Cheshire College, said: “The Mark Foster and Natalie Lowe Dance Experience was a fantastic event and we were delighted to welcome two well known names to Ellesmere Port.

“We had great feedback from fans who thoroughly enjoyed the evening and it was a great opportunity for both our students and the Merrall’s Academy to be part of the same show as Mark and Natalie.”

Debbie Grieve from the Wirral, who attended the event, said: “The show was wonderful. Mark and Natalie were a charming couple who exuded enthusiasm, had lots of personality, which rubbed off to the other dancers performing.

“It was a very enjoyable evening and brought smiles and happiness to many”.

Former Strictly contestant Mark, who also visited the College in September as a guest speaker for the annual Higher Education Awards, said: “It was a great to come back to West Cheshire College. The Dance Experience was a fantastic evening in front of an amazing crowd and Natalie and I enjoyed every minute of it.”
