The Dining Room, West Cheshire College, is hosting a wine tasting evening to raise funds for a three city trip

The wine tasting and food matching evening on 1st May, will be led a local wine expert who will share his views on wines from Austria, Hungary and France.

Funds raised during the evening will go towards the trip where students will visit hotels and restaurants including the famous Café Sacher.

Julie Hinde, Hospitality and Catering Tutor at West Cheshire College, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore new cultures and see how the hospitality industry works in different countries.

“It provides them with an opportunity to see and do things they might not do here in England like try new foods.

“The wine tasting event is set to be a great evening and I hope the local community show their support for the students by coming along to enjoy a nice meal, wine and entertainment.”

The wine tasting event is on Wednesday 1st May at 6pm in The Dining Room, West Cheshire College, Ellesmere Port Campus, off Sutton Way and tickets cost £15 per person.
