Rackline wins new university project

Storage manufacturer Rackline has won a contract worth over £100k with the University of East London.


The Newcastle-under-Lyme firm has started work on the University’s new purpose built library and resource centre located at the University’s Stratford Campus.


Aidan Moss, Sales Manager of Rackline, said: “We are delighted to add the University of East London to our portfolio of clients. We have worked with a number of high profile universities and it’s a credit to the quality of our products and service to be awarded this contract.


“We are installing specialised shelving units which feature integral lighting as well as perforated end panels with acoustic inserts to reduce sound levels.


“We pride ourselves on developing products that are both innovative and flexible to ensure we create the best storage solutions for our clients’ needs.”


Rackline, established in 1984, designs and manufacturers innovative storage solutions to meet the general filing and archive requirements of libraries, museums, hospitals as well as accountancy and solicitor firms  and large retail and commercial head offices.


Over the past 12 month Rackline has worked on a series of projects for universities across the UK including the University of Aberdeen, University of Leeds, University of Glasgow and University of Reading.
