Rackline completes project for GMP HQ

August 6, 2012

Specialist storage manufacturer Rackline has completed a project worth over £270k as part of the redeveloping of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) headquarters in Newton Heath, Manchester on behalf of Senator International.

Rackline, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, was appointed as a sub-contractor by office furniture manufacturer Senator, to install a range of specialist storage solutions.

The work was awarded to Rackline based on their expertise of working on previous projects for GMP as well as their ability to supply solutions with the required high- density storage.

Sean Donovan, Sales Manager at Rackline, said: “We supplied high density and static storage by installing a range of specialist products including our multitrak, monotrak, profile, proform and prospan products.

“These products are all designed to maximise capacity and to provide secure storage. As well as the functional benefits, all our products are stylishly designed so they complement the modern interior created by Senator.

“The installation process included a storage evaluation and audit beforehand, to ensure we were installing the right product for the new HQ. The installation took 20 weeks and is now complete.”

Rackline, established in 1984, designs and manufacturers innovative storage solutions to meet the general filing and archive requirements of libraries, museums, universities and colleges, hospitals as well as accountancy and solicitor firms , and large retail and commercial head offices.
