Rackline appoints new area sales manager

Storage and archive manufacturer Rackline has appointed a new Area Sales Manager for Scotland after an influx of new business wins throughout the country.


Colin Lightbody has joined Rackline  as a Area Sales Manager for Scotland

Colin Lightbody, from Glasgow, who has over 30 years’ experience within the storage industry, joined the company as the number of projects for Rackline in Scotland significantly increased.


Lindsay Khan, Managing Director of Rackline, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Colin to our team.

Due to Colin’s extensive experience in the industry, he will bring a wealth of knowledge to the company.


“Colin’s appointment will develop and build on new and existing relationships to deliver first-class storage and filing products across Scotland.”


Colin said: “I am delighted about my appointment at Rackline. It is a very exciting time to join the business as we have won several new contracts in Scotland.


“I have a lot of experience in the industry which will really benefit me in my role and will help to provide our clients with the best service.”


Since Colin joined the Rackline team just two months ago, he has already secured new contracts throughout Scotland.


Rackline, established in 1984 in Newcastle-under- Lyme, designs and manufacturers innovative storage solutions to meet the general filing and archive requirements of libraries, museums, hospitals as well as accountancy and solicitor firms  and large retail and commercial head offices.


Rackline have worked on a series of projects in Scotland including University of Glasgow, University of Aberdeen, McManus Galleries and Museum in Dundee and the National Archive of Scotland in Edinburgh.
