‘It’s a Knockout’ fun day

West Cheshire College is inviting current students, students starting in September, plus members of the public, to a fun-filled ‘It’s a Knockout’ day on Friday 18th July.

The event, which runs from 11am-4pm at theCollege’s Ellesmere Port Campus, is raising money for the student volunteer fund as well as celebrating the end of a successful academic year.

The highlight of the day will be the ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition when 15 teams of 10 people will participate in an assortment of exhilarating activities to win a prize and trophy. Entry is £2 for participants and all spectators are free.

Throughout the day, visitors will be treated to fantastic food, drinks and activity stalls including an Xbox Kinect Game Station, hair styling studio, cake workshop, laser tag and a wheelchair relay.

Entertainment will be provided by the College’s student radio station, Daemon Radio.

Andrew Hutchings from West Cheshire College who is organising the event, said: “The fun day is set to be a fantastic day out for everyone.

“It’s a great time to get everyone together in a fun environment to celebrate the success of the past academic year.

“The day will also be an opportunity for future students to see our facilities and meet other students and tutors.”
